Can a lawman witch find love with an outlaw familiar?

After weeks spent tracking down the gentleman bandit Rafael, Hexas Ranger Enoch Bright finally has the outlaw in his sights. He doesn’t expect to find out Rafael is his familiar.

When Enoch runs afoul of the murderous Bone Gang, he and Rafael strike a deal to take down the gang together. As lawman and outlaw work together, Enoch soon realizes the next thing the gentleman bandit steals will be his heart.

This is a really quick read, but I loved it. I’m a big fan of the Hexworld anyway so was delighted to explore beyond New York for the first time. Especially with these two characters – Enoch so honourable, Rafael so sensual. They’re a great pair.

Throw in the excitement of an outlaw gang and serious crimes afoot and this was a great read. Perhaps a little light on real grit and detail, but I kind of liked it even better for that and it’s definitely one of my favourites from the series, novels included.

If you’re looking for a short magical M/M read with a wild west feel and some excitement, then give this a go. I really hope it isn’t the last we’ll see of the Hexas Rangers and these two in particular. I could definitely read more about this pair.

Wild Wild Hex is Out Now.
